The heritage-listed Story Bridge turns 75 this year! Celebrate this much-loved and recognised Brisbane icon as part of Brisbane City Council’s free Story Bridge 75 event. On Sunday July 5 2015, the bridge will close to vehicular traffic and will be transformed into an outdoor festival covering the 1-km length and six-lane breadth of the structure, with 100 Eat Street Markets food and beverage vendors, four licensed bars, four performance stages with one stage hosting performers from The QUBE Effect, bridge history displays and Team Brisbane and Cycling Brisbane activations. For the security, safety and comfort of all, visitors must have registered online.
