Now entering its tenth year, the biggest ten minute play festival in the world takes centre stage again at Brisbane Powerhouse. Here’s your opportunity to witness brand new home-grown independent performances. Short+Sweet offers short sharp bursts of ten-minute theatre and cabaret, presenting dozens of new performance works – each unique and packing a punch.

A festival like no other, Short+Sweet offers daring drama, laugh-out-loud comedy, charismatic cabaret, contemporary performance and perhaps even some bold burlesque, each less than ten minutes long!

Heats are from 20-30 June and this year will feature cabaret and theatre strands plus a special wildcard event!
