The Sciencecentre at the Queensland Museum has long been a hub of innovative learning, and Rescue is the latest and greatest exhibition of interactive education. The exhibition looks at the efforts of emergency personnel rescue techniques and equipment. Kids can pilot a helicopter simulation in a rescue scene, escape a smoke-filled room, navigate a jet ski to test out surf lifesaving techniques, test fire extinguishers on simulated fires, use infrared cameras and tackle a climbing wall. Rescue will be at the Queensland Museum until February 2016.
