Queensland Music Awards 2015

After months of anticipation and speculation, QMusic has announced the full list of finalists for the 2015 Queensland Music Awards, presented by BOQ and Hutchinson Builders. More than 40 judges from across the country and internationally listened to hundreds of song and video entries from artists all over Queensland. Entries were received from every corner of the state, from Cooktown, Cairns, Innisfail, Townsville, Rockhampton, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Mackay, Moura, Tarzali, Kingaroy, Gayndah and Gladstone. One of the most memorable nights on the Queensland music industry calendar, the winners across 21 categories and the Billy Thorpe Scholarship winner will be crowned at the 2015 awards night taking place at new venue, the Brisbane Powerhouse on Monday March 30.

The 2015 awards ceremony will be hosted by Triple J’s Sarah Howells and hip-hop veteran Fred Leone, aka Rival MC from Impossible Odds Records. The Queensland Music Awards has always showcased the excellence and diversity that Queensland music has to offer. Performances at this year’s awards night will feature Katie Noonan, Airling, Yarwah, Blank Realm, Halfway, MKO, We All Want To and Sahara Beck. Check out the full list of finalists on the Queensland Music Awards website and find more information online.
