MS Moonlight Walk


On Saturday October 28, thousands of Australians will laced up the comfiest walking shoes for the 25th annual MS Moonlight Walk, which is starting from Davies Park in West End. This year the event is set to be bigger and better than ever, with glow performances taking place along the route, live music and entertainment at the finish line and the signature sea of lanterns that will illuminate the night. Interested trotters can sign up for one of three courses – a 3-km, 5-km and 10-km walk (both the 3- and 5-km courses are wheelchair accessible), with the paths taking in a string of local landmarks such as the Wheel of Brisbane and the Brisbane River. Each course will finish back at Davies Park, where participant can then enjoy a picnic dinner in the park with (both BYO options and food trucks are available).

Funds raised from this year’s MS Moonlight Walk will go towards services including MS Queensland’s NeuroAssist information line,
NDIS access and planning support, specialist nursing services and wellness programs for those living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neurological conditions. All participants who raise over $500 will receive a branded picnic blanket.
