Moons: Worlds of Mystery

Moons: Worlds of Mystery

From volcanoes and geysers to ice-covered oceans and methane rain, moons have some spectacular features. Learn what these celestial bodies reveal about the history and workings of our solar system. Moons: Worlds of Mystery is the newest show to launch at the Brisbane Planetarium, running from December 13 to January 25.

The Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium is located in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha and features entertaining and informative programs for both children and adults alike.

Moons: Worlds of Mystery will take place in the Cosmic Skydome – a special circular theatre with a 12.5-metre dome and state-of-the-art star projector systems where you can also learn more about astronomy and current space missions in the mini theatre, get up close to incredible artefacts in the displays, star gaze in the observatory and take home a souvenir from the Galaxy Gift Shop. Check out the Brisbane Planetarium website for specific dates and admission prices.
