Returning for its third year, Maroochy Music and Visual Arts Festival is an annual one-day celebration of contemporary music and visual arts on the world-renowned holiday destination Sunshine Coast. This year the organisers have pulled out all of the stops for this year’s line-up, dropping names to the tune of Alison Wonderland, The Presets, Bernard Fanning and Gang Of Youths to headline the musical portion. The world-class visual artist line-up features Sunshine Coast artist Lucas Salton, a collaboration between Design Lab and Tiamco, as well as international top gun Beastman alongside local legends Frank & Mimi.

With just one main stage, you don’t have to worry about those pesky timetable clashes, and the strict ‘No Dickhead Policy’ ensures good times for everyone. If that is not enough, the festival takes place on the site of the New Maroochydore CBD (Old Horton Park Golf Course), which boasts sweeping open green spaces dotted with native trees and waterways.
