If you have an inner Julia Child that has been dying to come out, now is the time – Madame Rouge Bar + Bistro is launching its new Look, Learn, Wine & Dine events, a monthly series of food and wine masterclasses starting on Saturday August 19. This is your chance to learn how to prepare restaurant-quality food in the comfort of your own home under the guidance of some of Brisbane’s best.

Restaurateur and chef Philip Johnson will be hosting the event alongside Madame Rouge’s head chef Gert Pretorius, helping guests hone their cooking knowledge 101 whilst enjoying amazing food and wine. Atendees will relish the tastes, textures and aromas of simple and sophisticated cuisine, harmoniously matched with wine. Tres bien!

The interactive event sees guests casually gathered around the bar at Madame Rouge with Philip and Gert cooking and bringing out food from the kitchen, while also explaining the preparation and ingredients of each delectable dish.  Each menu is presented at the event and may feature dishes from the Madame Rouge a la carte menu as well as dishes specially created for the event.
