If you’re lacking weekday lunch inspiration, get your belly down to the brand-new King Street Food Stall Market in the Brisbane Showgrounds and fuel up on nosh from some of Brisbane’s best providores and producers. Lady Marmalade, Press’d and Local Mobile Deli are just some of the folks you’ll find dishing up the goods between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday through to Friday in the new Kings Gate building on St Pauls Terrace. The market will initially run for a period of six weeks, with the possibility of continuing, as construction progresses on the King Street development. Food business incubator Wandering Cooks has also set up a stall, offering pies, soups, scones, curries, brownies and more from the likes of local makers UglyFood&Co, Alphabet Cafe and indietreats.
