Jindalee MS Swimathon
On Sunday November 15, the Jindalee Pool will host the second MS Swimathon event of the season to raise vital funds to help people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). The MS Swimathon is one of Queensland’s fastest-growing charity events and is great for all ages and abilities. It doesn’t matter if you can do 100 fast laps or doggy paddle one, everyone can join in, have fun and support people living with MS – an incurable disease which affects a person’s central nervous system. Designed as a relay event, teams must have one swimmer in the water at all times throughout the entire 12 hour event period.
The MS Swimathon is a community-based event that encourages everyone to take part and raise money to help people living with MS. Participants can raise donations by asking for a one off donation from friends and family or being sponsored based on the number of laps completed. Registration opens Monday September 7, so get involved to help support those individuals living with MS and their families.
Head to the MS Swimathon website to register and to check out more information.
