Drawing on inspiration from the likes of Radio 1’s Live Lounge, and Triple J’s Like a Version, Kraken Presenting: For the Love of Music is a live music event like no other. Six amazing bands from the greater Brisbane area, all of varying styles and genres, are encouraged to present only their best originals and throw some awe-inspiring, creative covers into the mix. Although their musical styles are eclectic to say the least, the one attribute that unites them is the fact they are all fantastic musicians who aren’t afraid to spice things up a bit. This show is the first of its kind and one guaranteed to impress music lovers from all walks of life.
