Buffalo Bar in the city is celebrating all things USA this Fourth of July Weekend hosting the Festival of the Free, a three-day festival featuring live bands, US craft, all American fare, trivia, beer pong and a food challenge.

The festivities will kick off on Friday July 1 bringing the best of the USA down under. Continuing well into the weekend, Buffalo Bar will see the restaurant transformed into every man’s dream – a Jack Daniel’s pop-up bar oasis. Complete with JD Fireballs and a specialty Whiskey cocktail.

Weekend festivities will also include an all American Tailgate party on Saturday July 2, hosted in Buffalo Bar’s neighbouring laneway. The laneway will be brought to life with American theming, live bands and a pop-up tinnie bar. Live music will commence at 3:00 pm in the laneway, brought to you by Howlin’ Time and The Sugarshakers. Hanks Bar will also play host to live music from 8:00 pm with The Hi-Boys.

The celebrations will continue into Sunday with the ‘Lady Liberty’ food challenge followed by Seinfeld Trivia hosted by Man vs. Bear. The food challenge will see a number of burger enthusiasts forfeit their rights to the ‘Lady Liberty’, a five-stack Waygu Cheeseburger. Over $500 worth of prizes will be up for grabs and $1 wings and jugs of Sam Adams and Sangria will be on offer for supporters.
