Desirelines
The Judith Wright Centre will be presenting Desirelines from September 2–5, a work performed by Queensland-based fine art and music dance ensemble Collusion. Desirelines are described as being improvised tracks taken by those who defy paths designed for them by others. Four dancers will be navigating stainless steel tracks illuminated and complemented by a digitally animated landscape, creating a unique blend of ballet backed by chamber music. Conceived by Benjamin Greaves and choreographed by Gareth Belling, this production has brought together acclaimed composers, dancers, animators that is as enthralling as it is entertaining.
