Queensland Wind and Brass presents their first concert of 2016: All Creatures Great and Small. Come along and experience music inspired by the tiniest of creatures all the way through to the biggest creature of them all: Godzilla! The programme will feature music including:
– Johan de Meij’s “The Wind in the Willows”
– Eric Whitacre’s “Godzilla Eats Las Vegas!”
– Ralph Hultgren’s “Arachnophobia”
– Selections from the musical “Cats”
– Movement V (“The Hobbits”) from Johan de Meij’s Symphony No. 1
PLUS experience the sound of The Old Museum’s organ in the Finale from Saint-Saens’ Symphony No. 3 (Organ Symphony).
