Only a year after it debuted in Fortitude Valley to a mob of merry revellers, Brisbane’s boutique music celebration The Blurst of Times Festival has been rolled out to Sydney and Melbourne, and is set to return to Brisbane this weekend. Alternative music is under the spotlight, with bands and artists from around the nation firing up The Brightside, The Brightside Carpark and The Zoo this Saturday October 18.

Organisers The Fans Group have announced an impressive line-up of acts, from London’s Many Things and New Zealand’s Die! Die! Die! to local favourites Jeremy Neale, The Creases, Rolls Bayce, Orphans Orphans, Major Leagues, Martyr Privates, DZ Deathrays, Babaganouj and many more Australian acts like Dick Diver, The UV Race and Bloods.
