Rejoice at Status Quo’s return to the stage

There are very few bands that can claim to have seen 50 years in the music industry, but Status Quo is one of them. The band was originally founded by schoolboys Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster in 1962, but soon became a fully fledged rock ‘n’ roll offering in the years that followed. During its time making music, the British group has managed to achieve the impressive acclaim of 60 hits within the UK charts alone (including ‘Paperplane’ and ‘Rockin’ All Over The World’). The group will visit the Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre on Thursday March 28 to give Brisbane audiences a chance to experience the latest album, Quid Pro Quo, in person.
