The Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble performs at The Gap Farmers’ Market

The Gap Farmers’ Market hosts a range of live musicians at each of its weekend markets, and this Sunday October 11 market goers will see something different with an act by the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble.

Performing Midsummer’s Mechanicals, the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble draws together music, dancing and wooden-sword swashbuckling with some of the much-loved characters of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This funny and free half-hour performance will easily entertain all ages. The performance commences at 9:30 am at The Gap Farmers’ Market, so pick up some market snacks and plant yourself on a haystack or picnic blanket for the show.

This weekend’s market will also feature local musicians Peter Brandjerporn collaborating with Nikki Debruyn as well as Mardi Wilson.
