Check out the work of our state’s best new artists, designers, photographers and filmmakers at the QCA Showcase 2014 this weekend.

More than 200 creatives from the graduating class of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art (QCA) will unveil their best work in a free four-day exhibition from Thursday November 27 to Sunday November 30. Presented in festival style for the first time, the QCA Showcase 2014 will see fine art, photography, film, sculpture, design, jewellery, animation and games design on display, alongside a range of artist talks, Q&A panels, guided tours, masterclasses, workshops and performances across the South Bank campus.

Join the official opening from 4:00–9:00 pm tonight, Thursday November 27, for food stalls, drinks, live music and an alumni panel discussing the secrets of successful creative careers from 5:00 pm. Award-winning artist Tony Albert will attend as guest of honour, and the winner of the prestigious GAS: Graduate Art Show and Art Award will also be announced.
