Fans of opera will be well acquainted with The Metropolitan Opera’s reputation as a breeding ground of rising stars, established talent and incredible productions. The New York monument continues to be home to some of the world’s most beloved operas. Luckily for Brisbane fans, you no longer require a plane ticket to reach The Met, as Dendy Cinemas will be screening a selection of award-winning operas in high definition. Now in its seventh season, the program’s screenings will this year reveal 12 astounding performances, including the likes of Otello, The Tempest, L’Elisir D’Amore, Aida and Rigoletto.
