The energetic troupe of 20 will bring together award-winning athletes, world-class acrobats, specialty acts and comedians to present one unique stage display – in what will be an Australian premiere and a first for Brisbane audiences.

The Lyric Theatre will be fitted with a custom-built stage, so that onlookers will be treated to a 360-degree view of the action-packed performances, in an intimate setting. The concept behind the set is aimed at encouraging viewers to experience the show up-close, rather than just watch it. Special effects have also been employed to keep audience members guessing what will happen next. Acts exhibiting the balance, contortion, stamina and aerial artistry of performers – which will include a demonstration of the notorious Colombian Wheel of Death – will take place throughout Le Noir – The Dark Side of Cirque’s season in Brisbane from August 1–17.
