Opening its doors in March, new gallery LA51 Art Gallery is the latest creative space to take up residence in one of Paddington’s charming Queenslanders. The gallery features a number of spaces that host exhibitions ranging from painting to photography and sculpture.

LA51 is run by art director Belinda Lownds, who has a passion for painting and providing emerging artists with a platform for promoting their works. An exhibition of Bill Stevenson’s colourful works has just wrapped up, and you can keep an eye on the gallery’s website for details of upcoming exhibitions. Artists seeking a gallery to show their works can enquire about leasing an exhibition space for 1–2 weeks.
