Discover design at Identity by Responsive Projects
For all the incredibly creative minds that form part of our nation, a lack of a supportive network in place can mean that only a handful will make it to a fully fledged successful career. Responsive Projects is an initiative that aims to provide much-needed support for creative types, engaging designers and thinkers with events, workshops and interviews specifically tailored to the growth of design.
Responsive Project’s Brisbane base helps to stimulate discussion and growth in the contemporary fields of design within the local area. Behind the inspirational team is Aaron Gillett, Gem Copeland, Luke Robertson and Nikolaus Kaiser. The group’s efforts have also been made possible thanks to a partnership with Brisbane City Council’s Creative Sparks program.
The foursome’s latest development is an upcoming forum on Thursday April 11 at the State Library of Queensland. A collection of leading designers (from all over the globe) will take the time to discuss the theme of ‘Identity’ in a productive, critical-type lecture. Speaking to the crowd will be a number of illustrious talents, including Ken Garland, Rob Giampietro, Mark Gowing, Kevin Finn, Michaela Webb and Peter Hall.
Visit the Responsive Project website for more detailed information on the event and to book your tickets.
