Welcome back Hungry Kids of Hungary at The Zoo

Welcome back Hungry Kids of Hungary at The Zoo

After giving themselves a well-deserved break this year, local lads Hungry Kids of Hungary are back on the touring circuit. Armed with new tunes and a renewed energy, the band is visiting a slew of Australian cities to coincide with the release of a new album.

The Brisbane band is comprised of four young gentlemen, who formed under a shared appreciation of the genres of rock, soul, R ‘n’ B, blues and 1960s pop. It’s these styles that have influenced and helped to form the band’s sound – the group’s catchy rhythm, flavoursome guitar and sweet vocals growing them quite a loyal fan base in their hometown, as well as around the rest of the nation.

This Thursday October 18, the boys will be gifting locals with a return performance within the cosy interiors of The Zoo. This performance will mark Hungry Kids of Hungary’s first Australian headline tour in 18 months, after taking a break for some relaxation and rejuvenation, and will see support from the likes of Jeremy Neale and Gung Ho. The Sharp Shooter tour will see the lads travel around the country, performing songs from second album You’re A Shadow, which is set for release in March 2013.
