Gleefully gory Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain comes to QPAC

A talented troupe of actors bring Britain’s history to life in a lively and educational theatre production for local Brisbane kids.

3D effects, incredible costumes and an entertaining history that sounds like the stuff of fiction – Brisbane, you’re in for one heck of a treat. Kids will be rolling about in the aisles of the QPAC Concert Hall this weekend as Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain is played out live on stage. From Friday January 30 to Sunday February 1, this popular edition from the UK’s Horrible Histories series will be introducing Brisbane audiences to Queen Boudicca, Richard the Lionheart, King Henry VII and more.

Barmy Britain is the Birmingham Stage Company’s most successful Horrible Histories production. Written by Terry Deary and Neal Foster, it’s the longest running children’s show in the history of London’s West End. Find more information and buy tickets online.
