Savour the flavours of Australian produce at the Good Food & Wine Show

Mouth-watering fare will be on display over three days at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre as hundreds of Australian producers and a few culinary celebrities gather to celebrate everything gourmet.

Few things bring people together quite like good food. Dinner parties, brunches, barbecues – food is the stuff of life and is worth celebrating. One of Australia’s largest celebrations of good food is the nationally touring Good Food & Wine Show, which is hitting Brisbane from Friday October 3 to Sunday November 1. Over the three huge days some of Australia’s best wine producers, artisan providores and celebrity chefs will descend on Brisbane to hawk wares and provide demonstrations.

The show floor will be packed to capacity with boutique producers from across the country – sample delicious cheeses in Tucker’s Natural Cheese Alley, craft beers abound down Brewers Lane and Artisan Square boasts more gourmet goodies than you could shake a salami at. The Cellar Door will be the spot for wine drinkers to sample some regional flavours, while the Good Food Theatre will be the spot to catch some of the big names in food as they whip up delicious meals live on stage. A bunch of culinary experts and chefs will be conducting masterclasses over the weekend, including Adam Liaw, George Calombaris, Miguel Maestre, Nick Haddow, Sally and Bella Jakubiak and Kirrily Waldhorn.

If you are still peckish after wandering around the show, why not see what other foodie hotspots can be found around South Bank, such as Zeus, Che Asado, The Charming Squire or Hop & Pickle.
