Food, fashion and music combine at Future Beauty Up Late

Stay Up Late on Friday nights for fashion talks, live music and Japanese-inspired nosh at GOMA’s Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion.

If you’ve ever dreamed of trawling through the Gallery of Modern Art after hours, the latest Up Late series is your entry ticket. Shining the spotlight on the gallery’s ground-breaking new exhibition Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion, Future Beauty Up Late invites night owls to talk a walk through the exhibition, listen to presentations from designers and fashion identities, graze on Japanese-inspired grub and beverages, and enjoy music from DJs and live headline acts.

The series will entertain local art lovers between 5:30–10:00 pm over seven evenings from Friday November 21 to Friday February 13, boasting live acts such as Japan’s Broken Doll, the UK’s Factory Floor, Melbourne’s Oscar Key Sung and Brisbane’s Sampology and Last Dinosaurs. Check out the full program online.
