The art of collaboration is explored in FLEET

A free exhibition curated by OK YEAH COOL GREAT will showcase the work of 12 contemporary artists at Metro Arts this month.

Whether we’re talking art, work or play, many hands make light work. This theme of collaboration will be dissected in a new exhibition at Metro Arts this month, which has been curated by Sydney creative twosome OK YEAH COOL GREAT. Six contemporary artistic duos will investigate collision, distortion and alternative representation in FLEET, from Wednesday October 22 to Saturday November 8.

The exhibition will open with an artist talk at 5:30 pm on October 22 in level two of the Brisbane City space, where the creatives will discuss their works and collaborative processes. Established and emerging artists including Kylie Banyard and Ron Adams, Monika Behrens and Rochelle Haley, Charles Dennington and Tully Arnot, SuperKaleidoscope’s Kim Fasher and Sarah Mosca, Todd Robinson and Mark Titmarsh, and OK YEAH COOL GREAT’s Kate Beckingham and Anna McMahon will feature in the exhibition. Pop in to Metro Arts from 5:30 pm on Friday November 7 for a special artist performance as part of Friday Night: November.
