Eats & Beats food trucks roll in to Queensland Music Festival

The night sky will provide a stunning backdrop to the latest Eats & Beats series, so take along a warm blanket, chair or cushion and enjoy the live music and exhilarating entertainment.

This Saturday August 1 and Sunday August 2 will see the Eats & Beats urban food truck and music pop-up series proudly supporting Queensland Music Festival‘s Under This Sky performance.

Under This Sky is a production written by and for the community, with the banks above the Logan Brothers Rugby League field and the night sky as its amazing backdrop. Without the containment of a single stage, the performance merges with the landscape and boasts original music featuring a cast of more than 700, and explores a day in the life of this pulsing city. Musical styles merge as gigantic puppets meet fire-twirlers, dancers perform and a solo guitarist plays to the night stars, whilst the sound of hotted-up lawnmowers make way for a mass of thunderous drummers.

Feast from one or many of the more than 50 food trucks and vendors who will be part of this event and watch while Logan’s stories are revealed, driven by energy, pride and a true sense of community. Food vendors including the likes of Caff Attack, Doughnut Time, Street St, Two Teas, Dans Dim Sim Kitchen, Vida Vegetarian, Little Back, Vira Lata and Phunky Dory will be feeding the masses, so secure a spot and a bite to eat early to ensure you can take in all the entertainment.
