Asahi Silver Sessions celebrates thinkers
Singing the praises of Australia’s most pioneering creative types, the Asahi Silver Sessions is a series of interactive events that aims to foster this kind of innovative behaviour.
The Brisbane leg of the thoughtful series will be housed within the walls of Stokehouse Q on Thursday May 8 at 7:00 pm. Each session will embrace the Japanese Kamishibai storytelling philosophy, which harks back to the Buddhist temples of the 12th century and pays homage to the heritage of the Asahi brand.
The Weekend Edition’s own Carl Lindgren will be joined by actor Gyton Grantley and photographer Toby Scott to each give an inspiring talk – and in doing so, reveal the secret ingredients to their respective career successes – to an audience of around 80 people.
