Get informed and inspired at the 2014 Climate Action Summit

Whether you’re an expert in the field or you simply want to get the facts, be part of the climate action solution at the national Climate Action Summit in Brisbane this weekend.

When great minds come together to discuss positive solutions to problems, it spreads hope and amplifies optimism, inspiring real action and awareness. The sixth annual Climate Action Summit held at QUT Gardens Point this weekend promises to share the new narrative of opportunity and positive action, as it focuses on the theme of ‘Opportunities and Solutions’. The packed program featuring presentations, workshops and panel discussions from more than 50 presenters will explain how you can bypass obstacles to take effective action.

Last year’s event saw more than 500 scientists, engineers, health professionals, politicians and members of the public gathering in Sydney to discuss solutions to climate issues, and this year is set to be even bigger with new features like the Climate Comedy Video Competition and The Great Debate: Homo Sapiens – Are They Smart Enough For Climate Change? The event will kick off with pre-summit drinks on Friday September 19 and close with a summit dinner on Sunday September 20.
