Westin to open luxury hotel within Mary Lane development
As the Mary Lane development inches closer to becoming a reality, more and more newsworthy happenings are building up the excitement. It has been announced that Westin will be adding a luxury hotel to the anticipated inner-city precinct.
A few months back we brought news that a new five-star hotel was planned for the 111 Mary Street development, and now we can confirm that luxury hotel brand Westin will be debuting in Brisbane as part of the Mary Lane precinct. In addition to residential apartments and dining destinations that will form part of the 111 Mary overhaul, Westin will be opening a multi-story hotel with 286 guest rooms boasting scenic views of the river and city skyline. The hotel chain boasts more than 200 locations worldwide, and Westing Brisbane is set to the fourth in Australia, joining locations in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.
Westin Brisbane will feature five-star amenities in each room as well as a fitness studio, a resort style swimming pool with a bar, spa facilities and 667 square metres of meeting and event space. The hotel is slated to open in 2018, with more announcements regarding dining destinations and retail occupants to come in the future.
