The Yards comprises two residential towers and 11 terraces, with 401 apartments across the 16 and 18 storey towers. The development will also feature a 2500 sqm podium retreat with more than 20 wellness and entertainment hubs, and a 1200 sqm internal supermarket. The first of the two towers, North Yard has been released, and will see 208 apartments designed to suit Brisbane’s sub-tropical climate, with light- filled, open-plan connectivity to maximise living environments and views from the historic inner-city plot.

Kitchen finishes include sleek energy-star-rated European stainless steel appliances, stone benchtops, mirrored splashbacks, and a dining island featuring reinforced concrete benches and movable shelving. Melbourne-based architecture firm Hayball has been enlisted to execute the design of The Yards. As part of the urban regeneration, a new high street dubbed King Street will connect St Paul’s Terrace and Gregory Terrace, and act as the heart of the precinct, with the 22-hectare site set to feature cafes, restaurants, bars and retail.
