Unison at Waterfront Newstead

Mirvac reveals third stage of Waterfront Newstead

Mirvac has announced that stage three of its Waterfront Newstead development will be Unison – a residential development with street-level retail opportunities.

Unison is the third stage of Mirvac’s Waterfront precinct, following the Pier and Park Residencies, along with hectares of public parkland and a perched lake. This latest development will feature one, two and three bedroom apartments suited to inner-city dwellers, as well as a special release of terrace homes, courtyard apartments and pavilion apartments for the growing or mature household.

Emulating the preserved heritage of the neighbouring suburb of Teneriffe, this Newstead development will embrace the history of the area through architectural interpretation that melds history with contemporary design. The design will feature a natural colour palette inspired by the locality and natural surrounds, while the facade will see face brick, patterned perforated panels and timber finishes come together. A point of difference to the architectural elements of this inner-city residential development is the inclusion of a large elevated garden, with communal outdoor kitchens, a plunge and lap pool, gym and health and wellbeing zones. This leafy common boasts an expanse of 4000m2 – upping the game on usual shared spaces.

With the new M&A dining precinct in Fortitude Valley, James Street constantly expanding and Gasworks drawing a roaring trade, this new residential development is a much-welcome addition to the waterfront suburb as it grows into a bustling and fashionable urban pocket.
