Little Edward Street set for a new dual-tower development

Spring Hill’s Little Edward Street has a new development in the works, with a DA submitted for a two new multi-purpose towers.

Fortescue Street Developments Pty Ltd has submitted the DA, designed by Red Door Architecture, with the street-facing residential tower sitting at 50–56 Little Edward Street. The residential tower will reach to 14 levels, featuring 36 one-bedroom, 51 two-bedroom and 12 three-bedroom apartments. Behind that at 25–29 Fortescue Street, a second residential tower will hold 39 one-bedroom, 53 two-bedroom and six three-bedroom apartments over 15 levels.

Beneath the towers will sit two large ground-floor retail zones on both Fortescue and Little Edward Streets, and each building will have a rooftop recreation deck complete with a pool, gym and barbecue area. A public laneway will also be included in the development, allowing ease of access between Fortescue and Little Edward Streets.
