Frolic about at Vintage on the Greens, Greenslopes

Are you dizzily fond of the fashions of yesteryear? Or maybe you have a penchant for Pan Am or see a little Don Draper in yourself? Whether it’s the style or elegance of attitude you’re chasing, it seems adding a teaspoon of vintage sweetness to modern life is here to stay.

The ultimate retro day out is greeting the grassy planes of the Greenslopes Bowls Club this Saturday.

Dress up in your Great Gatsby or Grease best and stroll on down for Vintage on the Greens – an evening-long affair of barefoot bowls, retro threads, live music and tunes from the 60s, 70s and 80s spinning on vinyl.

Frivolity will ensue on the dance floor, as the inner mods, beatniks, housewives and flappers of Brisbane’s ladies and lads bask in the old-world charm.

Hosted by Greenslopes vintage boutique Can you Keep a Secret?, come shake your tail feather and frolic about the lawn as the sun sets and champagne flows.
